

Rise of the Tomb Raider features a crafting system that lets players gather materials from plants and animals to make important items, and Croft can now interact with the environment in new ways, including climbing trees, hiding behind bushes, and swimming underwater to confuse or avoid enemies. The third-person action is set in epic environments full of ferocious wild animals, unstable footing, and variable weather, and gameplay consists of exploration, puzzle solving, and a mix of brute combat and stealth attacks. With her exploits in 2013's Tomb Raider covered up by the Trinity organization, Croft sets off to expose the truth behind ancient myths, beginning with a search for the fabled Siberian city of Kitezh. Crystal Dynamics' Lara Croft reboot continues as players join the famed adventurer's quest to discover the secret of immortality in Rise of the Tomb Raider.This will be a free update for those who already own the game on the Xbox One family of consoles. The Xbox One X update will be available to download following the consoles launch on November 7. Rise of the Tomb Raider is out now on Xbox One and PS4.

Like the PS4 Pro enhanced version, the Xbox One X version will offer three visual modes, so players can choose a setting that works best for them.
